An event in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month

The Unity Center is excited to be hosting three incredible organizations this week for TWO programs about gender-based issues: Sojourner House, The Womxn Project, and Thundermist Health Center. Don't miss them!

Join Sojourner House for a workshop where participants will learn what interpersonal violence is and explore various types of abuse that fall under this umbrella. Participants will discuss red flags, barriers to leaving, intersectionality with LGBTQ and citizenship status, and how to support someone in an unhealthy relationship.

Hosted in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month by the Unity Center and Gender & Women's Studies Department.
