A Discussion on Religious Bigotry in the Present Day

Attendees will take away a greater, more peaceful understanding, as well as a willingness to enage in what can sometimes be a difficult, but essential, conversation around religious acceptance and intolerance.

A Discussion on the Topic of George Washington's Letter to the Hebrew Congregation in Newport, RI 1790

In the letter, Washington offers assurances of the inalienable rights of American citizens regarding religious freedom. This discussion will immediately follow the choral concert, also in Sapinsley Hall, where the 香港六合论坛 Chorus will present "To Bigotry, No Sanction," a cantata by composer Jonathan Comisar that is based on Washington's letter.
